She likes Kate Moss and potatoes but never planned to become a fashion model. We’re talking about Isabel, the German eye-catcher whose versatile look may grace many high fashion magazine covers and star catwalks very soon. At 5’9.5” this silent Place discovery is said to be a reliable and tolerant person. Despite her young age, Isabel works very professional with no aptitude to ask many questions and on that score she was not that great small-talk-lover when we had the chance to interview her. Nonetheless we're certain we will be seeing more of "belle" Isabel in the near future ...
How did you get started in the modeling business?
Isabel: My agency scouted me when I was in Hamburg to see the city with a friend.I am from Munich.
Did you always dream of being a model?
Isabel: Before I started modeling I thought it is a very nice job. But it wasn't my dream.
What do you like most about modeling? What do you like least?
Isabel: I really enjoy seeing different cities and meeting a lot of new people. But sometimes it is hard if I don´t see my friends and family for a long time.
Have you encountered any surprises along the way?
Isabel: Yes, I have encountered a lot of surprises during my job as a model.
Ever get tempted to get pulled into the party scene?
Isabel: No.
Have you developed any new interests since you started modelling?
Isabel: I've started reading books because as a model you've often to wait.
What are your favourite things to do in your free time?
Isabel: I always enjoy celebrating birthdays with my family and going out with my friends.
Out of all the places your career has taken you, where was the most memorable?
Isabel: The most memorable city I have ever been to was Amsterdam because of its nice houses and buildings .
Do you have a mentor? Who? What is it about them that affects you? Why?
Isabel: Of course my family ,and ,for sure, I learnt so much from my agent, Yannis Nikolaou. He is always giving me great tips on how to do my job and that's so helpful.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? What could be your next career?
Isabel: At the moment I don´t think about my remote future. I´m sure I´ll go the right way.
What are your beauty secrets? How do you stay in shape?
Isabel: A lot of sleep is very important for the beauty and the shape. I also think you look better if you´re a happy person and if you enjoy the life you live.
Any advice for new models? What advice would you give other models starting out?
Isabel: Just "believe in yourself". Try to follow your dream and find the right people to support you. Look for agents you can work with, you trust and you feel close.
